Registration of Building and Other Construction Work, under BOCW Act, 1996
Overview
- “Act” means the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 [Central Act No. 27 of 1996]
- “principal employer” means the owner of a building or other construction work, and who engages any agency or contractor to carry out the work of the said building or other construction work directly or indirectly.
