    Overview

    Principal Employer means:

    1. “Act” means the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 [Central Act No. 27 of 1996].


    2. “principal employer” means the owner of a building or other construction work, and who engages any agency or contractor to carry out the work of the said building or other construction work directly or indirectly.
