    Overview

    Principal Employer means:

    1. In relation to any office or department of the Government or a local authority, the head of that office, department or authority or such other officer as the Government or the local authority, as the case may be, may specify in this behalf.

    2. In relation to a mine, the owner or agent of the mine and where a person has been named as the manager of the factory under the Factories Act, 1948, the person so named.

    3. In relation to a mine, the owner or agent of the mine and where a person has been named as the manager of the mine, the person so named.

    4. In relation to any other establishment, any person is responsible for the supervision and control of the establishment.

    Every Registration Certificate shall be issued within 30 days of receipt of complete application.

    ≡ Wok-order agreement with contractor.

    ≡ Contractor’s details mentioned.

    ≡ Number of migrant workmen employed through each contractor mentioned.

    ≡ Affidavit/declaration on stamp paper.

    Overview

    Principal Employer means:

    1. To every establishment in which five or more Inter-State migrant workmen (whether or not in addition to other workmen) are employed or who were employed on any day of the preceding twelve months.


    2. To every contractor who employs or who employed five or more Inter-State migrant workmen (whether or not in addition to other workmen) on any day of the preceding twelve months

    Maximum Number of Days after complete application is submitted: 30 Days, Refund of Security 60 days,

    (As per notified at Sr. No. 228 and 229 under Right to Service Act, 2011).

    of the Principal Employers,Establishments and nature of work.

    ≡ Whether a certificate by the Principal Employer is enclosed Form V.

    ≡ Particulars of security deposit, if any, to be adjusted.
